An extremely well written book describing the concepts of classical and quantum physics and the pressing need for a reformulation of both the theoretical domains to be unified into a wider framework. The wider framework discussed in this book is String Theory. I am quite thrilled to read about the arduous journey of scores of brilliant physicists from the inception, through several reformations and refinements of the string theory to its present structure as M-theory in the light of duality.
