This wonderful Socratic dialogue explores the implications of theistic based morality, and utterly destroys it. It is the classic question of whether something is good because god(s) think(s) it is, or because it possesses the property of goodness. Smug people who assert the incontestability of god based morals should read this. But then again, so should everybody else, since they could just as well partake of the awesomeness that is the Euphyphro.
