This book is the personal memoirs of the influential somalian-born Infidel Ayaan Hirsi Ali.
Now go back and read that statement a few times. This is her personal story full of her personal recollections and thoughts. Therefore of course this book is going to be biased. An absolutely fascinating and horrifying memoir all at the same time. I found Ali's journey amazing. Her ability to cut through the crap and finally use her brain is truly memorable and heroic.
She starts at her beginning. She describes her life as a child and the effect that growing up a Muslim, moving around from various Islamic countries, and not having her father around very often had on her. Wow! Just wow...review to come.

"Infidel" by Ayann Hirsi Ali is her gripping memiors about growing up Muslim in African countries and Saudi Arabia, and how she escaped a live of servitude to blaze her own path.
Ali's life story is astounding. She is a beautiful and honest writer and this book would be worth reading simply for her life experiences alone.
