Dawkins deftly illustrates that humankind is naturally moral without the need for a deity. He also clearly illustrates the order of things in the universe - from the not complex to the complex - and how the idea of a god undermines this order. Lastly, Dawkins shows that living a moral and happy life is more meaningful for those who do not believe, as it engenders genuineness in one's motives. Definitely a worthwhile book.

Really well-written, extremely clever and at times bitingly funny and sarcastic. This book has pretty strong arguments and looks at the theistic world view through the practical, the historical and the scripture bases. Well drawn out arguments and rebuttals make this one of the defining statements for atheism.
Not in the least because Richard Dawkins, that man knows his shit. It's great to watch him blaze through theist arguments and rip them apart. You know with what? THAT'S RIGHT, WITH SCIENCE. ...more

So good I had to read it twice. Full of facts, science, history, and all sorts of good stuff. He puts things in a thought-provoking manner that could (should?) be read by just about everyone. Religious or non-religious should all be able to appreciate this book. Although, the more fundamental amongst us would probably be highly offended.
