Just finished LOP. I know it's supposed to be fiction, but nothing of what the characters do, say or think ring true, especially Pi who sounds more than a 9-year-old British girl than an Indian 16-year-old boy.

It's pretty tiresome to read long detailed descriptions of events that could have never possibly happened. These lengthy descriptions made the events sound even more implausible, and at times bored me to tears. I felt like a complete idiot lying there reading this book, while the writer w
