i've avoided this type of book for years, thinking that it would just be 'preaching to the choir' (as it were) and that i wouldn't really get much out of it. turns out that i have a lot to learn! this is like a 'primer' for skeptics, agnostics, and atheists.

I've been listening to this while walking to and from work. Maybe I'm easily distracted, but it's like most of the chapters simply vanished into thin air. While the various writers have all been historically important, many of the arguments are naturally dated. Either because we now have scientific answers for their contemporary issues, or because they were too polite in a much more religious world than we live in.
