It has some internal contradictions (oddly, the author seems to feel that our options against the intolerence of religion is to either change or destroy it - which is kinda what intolerent religions say about other religions/philosophies) - however, it makes a powerful argument that using religious faith as our basis for ethics and morality is as outdated as the use of prayer to treat cancer or bacterial infections. Sam Harris says what needs to be said, calmly and rationally.
Author makes some great points early on in the book, but the book slowly recycles itself on the way to the end and focuses too much on blaming Islam for everything, when all religions are truly to blame.
