This is quite possibly the most succinct, intelligent, and encompassing piece of writing I’ve come across regarding religious debate. Harris has written a thoughtful and compelling book in incredibly accessible language. He makes his arguments swiftly and with strength. I am in awe of Sam Harris and his ability to take evidence, argument, and emotion from something so big and siphon out its ultimate, most riveting points. Absolutely amazing.

This is a fairly brief yet sufficiently thorough answer to the responses Harris received to his previous book The End of Faith. It further addresses the problems with faith on both the intellectual, practical and moral levels in society, covering basically the same points as The End of Faith but more succinctly and focusing specifically on trying to counter the claims made by the religious believers who made the effort to contact him after the last book.
