There have been several points in my life where I might have been labeled a fundamentalist christian, so I've occasionally been the person this book was directed at. As I've grown older and have gotten to know people of different religious beliefs and lifestyles, I've changed and would label myself as the moderate christian this book occasionally mentions. Letter to a Christian Nation was a fast, light read, and very enjoyable. There was nothing really new or insightful. Harris was "preaching to choir" for his atheist readers. It was the format that I enjoyed. The intention of the book was to arm secularists against the most common arguements and accusations of the right-wing Christians, so it was written as a letter to them. It was a refreshing perspective.

Sam Harris faz um excelente trabalho ao questionar de forma objetiva os principais dogmas religiosos cristãos. Leitura obrigatória para qualquer religioso de qualquer religião e também para os descrentes.
