What Members Thought
This book had a solid list of things I enjoy: a restricted setting, a strange, looming spaceship, a female mechanic more comfortable with machines than people, a gruff, military father figure. Beyond those, it also worked as both a hard sci-fi story and a thriller, with memorable characters and a gripping, unpredictable finale.
