My first Jojo Moyes book. Wow. This author knows how to write a moving story.
Loved reading about the traveling librarians of Kentucky during Roosevelt's WPA campaign.
There is some language and some intimate details that are best glazed over, but I really enjoyed reading this and plan on reading again. ...more

Humor, sadness, joy, love, heartbreak, courage, mystery ....this story had all. Loved the strong female characters and how they found a family in other. Great historical references of the Packhorse Librarians and their determination to serve their community in the face of harsh criticism and bigotry. This will definitely be one of my favorite reads of this year.
