I adored this book! I finished it days ago and can’t stop thinking about it. I never knew about the packhorse librarians so being able to discover their story through this book was a treat. I’ve read a few books by this author so I knew going into this book that I would like the writing style. What blew me away was the incredible cast of characters! Although it was slow going for me, I greatly enjoyed the characters and their stories.
I loved this book!! Great story!! I loved that lol was about a traveling library!! Didn’t like Alice’s father in law and husband!! Glad that she found her happy ending!! Loved the other Librarians!! I love this author’s books!!
Beautiful story of female friendship. This story builds and builds as it goes along, getting better and better with each page. I’ll miss the characters, well most of them, some were just awful!
