Words cannot describe how I feel about this book. I got so much out of it, for real life, it was incredible. Didn't like the ending, but I understood it. I don't know why I waited so long to read it. Maybe I just wasn't ready for it. ...more

I know there are thousands of reviews of this epic novel. Just wanted to say I love this book. Must have read it ten times during my teen and young adult years. Scarlett O'Hara is a force to be reckoned with. Wouldn't want to hang out with her on a regular basis but if you need someone in your corner, you want her. Loyal, strong and selfish to a fault this character wills you to care for her anyway.

Reread of GWTW. I wasn’t as enraptured the second time around, but this is still a fantastic book that is so well written! I only wish Margaret Mitchell had lived long enough to write a proper sequel :(
