This book was really informative about the conditions that children who worked for chimney sweeps had to endure in Victorian London. I liked Nan as a main character and following her work and then her adventures with Charlie. I felt for the sweeps and the horrible way they were treated by their masters. I also loved the little fantasy aspects of the book that arose as the story went on.
streaming tears down my face. This story is immaculate. Charlie, Nan, Toby, and the Sweep have stolen my heart. Please read this book!!
My favorite part was when man taught Charles to read!
