Loved it. Just straight out can't find one bad thing to say about it.
Although I do have a warning - this might have one of the most violent and disturbing scenes I've ever read.
City of Thieves has been sitting on my shelf for years - probably since it was published - but I kept picking it up and putting it back because of the "war story" aspect. I'm not a fan of war stories and not a fan of violence in my reading but finally this came up as a book club selection so read it I must!
