This book made me feel like a complete idiot. I can't even imagine a time when it was read by kids - with zeal, no less.
All of the dialogue is obtuse and heavy with thees and thous and misspellings that I assume are meant to emphasize the different languages intertwining but it really seems completely unnecessary. I don't think I understood a word and barely got enough of a gist to label "good guy/bad guy" and figure out what action occurred.
