What Members Thought
All the hype was right on for this novel. I'm only sorry that I waited so long to read it. It seems that there is always some new and horrific detail of the Holocaust to learn about and be sickened by. I thought that de Rosnay's approach to telling the story was very effective, using the alternating voices of Sarah and Julia.

I, too, learned something I didn't know from this book. It was a quick, easy read and I could hardly wait for the next page to find where the story was going to take me.
