Overall, I enjoyed this book. Like a lot. If I had to use one word to describe this book it would be “zany”.

A re-read, in fact. If anything it has become more topical and relevant over time. The influence on Douglas Adams and John Lloyd (and Red Dwarf and all the other comic sci-fi) is clear from page 1. And here's a new thing - one of the main characters is basically Elon Musk. Not bad for a book written more than 10 years before he was born.

I don't hear many people talking about this one, but it's one of my "go to" books by KV when I want an easy and entertaining read.
