I wasn't sure what to expect with all the mystery surrounding this book and it still surprised me. Once I started it, I couldn't put it down and finished it in a few days.
I found Holden to be a strangely endearing character. I am not at all sure that his alienation had to do with a fear of growing up (as one review I read stated).
