Really enjoyed this, perhaps the slightly lascivious nature of this volume (if only in its title) gave it an added frisson. Beautifully written and exquisitely observed

Enjoyed this volume much more again. More tedious saloon scenes (with bland characters and dialogue) than i would have liked, but less than in the third volume, and the usual richness of psychological observations, long beautiful sentences, and musings on life.
