Amazing book. Percy is a great kid. I love how the first thing that he does after he is healed is prepares to go after him mother when he doesn't even know a thing about how to save her. I loved how Annabeth and Grover refused to let him go alone. Hades was a rotten evil person and I hate how he took Percy's mother captive. The casino that the three got stuck in was interesting. I thought that this book was awesome. I like how he is able to safely get to Camp Half-Blood. I like how Grover ends up being his protector and helping to save his life. I like how Percy’s team win’s in the Capture the flag game. I like how Annabeth and Grover go with Percy on his mission instead of going alone. I like how they successfully return Zeus’s lightning bolt back to him and resolve things among the gods.
i think this book was an amazing book to start off the series
