Funny, heartbreaking, scary and powerful. How have I never read this before!?! I've never even seen the movie but I can totally see Jack Nicholson as McMurphy. He gets admitted to a psychiatric ward from a work farm. According to him on purpose. He wages war on the ward with Miss Ratched, the head nurse. All sorts of mayhem ensues. The scary thing is stuff like this happened in these type of places. It's a very serious subject that is hard to take seriously because some of the stuff that happens ...more
