I just finished the second edition, and it is fantastic.
I’ve been doing UX research for many years now, and I got great insights from this book. The book validated many things I’m already doing, and it gave me ideas for new approaches to improve my practice even more.
I took numerous notes in the margins and dog-eared so many pages. This book will be a valuable reference for me for years to come.

Finally got back to this. Great stuff.
Good overview of how to conduct interviews. Strong focus on ethnographic research (visiting people in their homes). Definitely worth the read, but also sometimes a bit shallow.
