I didn't really love this book, but I gave it 4 stars because I felt like the topic was incredibly timely and the storyline felt realistic. My boys are 15 an 13 at this time that I'm writing this review. At this time, both are pretty much "squeaky clean" from a booze and drug point of view, but the pressures to fit in socially can be really intense at this age and it would be easy for them to experiment and have it go unnoticed.
