So disappointing after loving State of Wonder. I kept waiting for something to happen and it just never did. Bored to death.

I wanted to like this book at love this book, but, it just didn't happen. About half way through the book, I finally had the characters ironed out and was waiting for a big twist in the plot, but it was just completely uneventful. The excitement never came. I enjoyed State of Wonder so much, that this book was truly a disappointment. ...more
