What Members Thought
I had to read this book in small parts, breaking it up every 50 pages or so. Having had so many Indian American friends that pursued medicine, I found Paul's description of early school, through med school and residency pretty fascinating. He definitely had a strong ego, but to be a neurosurgeon, I'd think you would have to. It takes an incredible amount of self-confidence to operate with a knife within millimeters of a make or break brain surgery. Wow.
