I have to say adult me was like, What? But when I showed it to the little guy in the house, she was all about it. She thought it was funny and sweet and she really enjoyed the story. That this kid and his "friend" hung around together was a funny concept to me. The help that the little friend gave was a nice lesson for children.

It is a perfect book for kids. The illustrations were well done and made us both laugh.

This is an amazing fun book for readers of all ages. I read it with my grand kids and they loved not only the story, but also the illustrations (by Danko Herrera). I thought the text and illustrations worked well together to teach important lessons about team work and friendships. It’s a very entertaining book that will educate young children on some important life skills. This makes the book a solid winner for me. I received this book free in exchange for my honest review.

Timmy is nervous about the big ice hockey try outs. He has so much to worry about; is he strong enough, will he slip in front of his friends, can he play a game without doing something embarrassing? We start living in a stressful world at an early age and children are bombarded everywhere from school, sports, friends, you name it. Timmy finds support and solace from his friend Fart. As tension builds in the game, Fart shows up to Timmy's dismay, but somehow breaks the ice, so to speak. The frien ...more

"The Day My Fart Followed Me To Hockey", is an endearing children's book. The illustrations were captivating -enticing the reader to the main characters of the story. The plot flowed nicely into the conflicts, allowing a sure-fire ending.

Timmy is a school-aged boy whose best friend is a fart. The biggest day of his hockey life-is today, and Fart wants to accompany him. Of course, Timmy has apprehensions-considering Fart stinks. During try-outs, Timmy is getting perturbed at his mistakes, fearin

Not Just for Boys

Loved this book. There’s an obvious knowledge about hockey try-outs, so any child involved with hockey will love it. AND since one of the players is a girl, it’s not a “Boys Only Club”.
Also, anyone who is nervous about starting something will not only enjoy this book, they will also feel encouraged to know that their nervousness is normal.

What a fun book. Kids AND adults will enjoy it. I’ve never written a sentence like this before but here goes --- the fart is cute, charming a

Little Fart is the most adorable looking fart.
Little Fart is Timmy's best friend. Timmy is trying out for the hockey team and is worried he might not be good enough. Timmy doesn't want Little Fart coming with him to the try outs (understandably)
But Little Fart is obstinate and wants to help his best friend.
I had to laugh at what happens next.
This is a delightful story about the importance of friendship and I look forward to reading more in the series.
