"Life in Shackles" is a collection of short stories written in Indian context. The stories are focused on social, political and religious issues. By reading this book one can understand the pain of being a woman. These stories are based on Dowry, Acid attacks, illiteracy, bravery and innocence.

I think every Indian must go through these stories, issues and feel the plight of women. As an author, I have given the voice and blown the trumpet for them and I am sure the society will seriously think
