Oh, to be a kid again. Sam's predicament reminded me of the time when I was a kid and got gum stuck in my hair. My inner child could relate to this with laughter of the silliness of childhood long past. The author has a way of drawing the reader back into those childish memories and enjoying every adventurous moment of it, realizing the joys of being a kid and the innocence, the novelty of that innocence, the new growth and how invaluable and educational it is with no regrets. ...more

MY THOUGHTS
There can never be enough good educational books for children that gives them the opportunity to learn and at the same time, have fun. Each of the books in Talking Tales series focus on one specific sound in the English language. This helps little ones learn how to sound out and say their words properly.
