What a precocious young child to be able to write and illustrate this book. I'm blown away. My daughter was so inspired that she now wants to do this. Start them young, I say. Beautiful book. Beautiful images. Will treasure always.

Great book that takes a young reader on a journey to discover different types of whale species, written and illustrated by a very creative young man- my grandson, Alexander. He suggested that he write a book one Saturday, and this was the result. His Daddy helped him with the text, and his Mommy and I worked on his watercolors. I think he has an excelled career ahead of him!!
Whaley's Big Adventure tells the very large tale of Whaley the blue whale who sets off in the ocean to find some other whales that live in the ocean too.
Along the way Whaley meets different sized whales who have some fun names like, Owen the orca and Brody the beluga whale. With each page turn the reader discovers what part of the vast oceans each whale lives in and a particular trait or two.
In the end, Whaley returns home full of knowledge and new friends in the ocean.

Whaley is a big blue whale. He decides to see if there are any others like him. He ends up finding forty varieties of whales. He learns about each one and then shares all the information when he gets back home. Whaley even gets to have a playdate with one of the whales.
A debut book by Mr Luke, this is so well written and illustrated your children will love it. He does very detailed work and I am proud to have been one of the first to review it. We look forward to more work from Alexander Luke ...more
