What is it like to live in another country? Just ask Carole Roman--she has written several books on different countries through the eyes of children. They are quite entertaining and choke full of information of how people live in other countries.

This book is about Poland--their culture, language and little things that could easily tie the kids here with those there. And us adults can read and learn as well. This is a great series and should be in all libraries.

“If You Were Me And Lived in…Poland” by Carole P. Roman was a lot of fun to read. I learned that one of my favorite things to eat, Pierogi, is from Poland! They had a working salt mine that when it closed it turned into a place for tourists to visit. My Mom and I were surprised to

Pick up this truly unforgettable book and read about another wonderful place that you would love to explore. IF YOU WERE ME AND LIVED IN...POLAND, by Carole P. Roman, is a fascinating book about a country in Central Europe. You'll learn about the language, the cultures, and one thing I found very interesting was the salt mine that has been there since the thirteenth century. There is even a wonderful underground city made from rock salt. A great place to visit. And, who doesn't like football, i ...more

Poland was founded in 1025 and their constitution took over 600 years to write. It was the first constitution in Europe and the second in the world. Poland has many legends too. Check out the one about Warsaw.

I think this series is essential to your child's library. It's a fun way to learn about far off places and the people who live there. Well written and full of information your child and you will love. I enjoy this series because I learn something with every book. It's time to add these w
