One of my favorite parts of reading these book with my daughter is that now she wants to visit new places. Her eyes get to big when she learns about the holidays and games different cultures have.

Once again, Roman has written an excellent children's book in multicultural studies. In this case she writes about the African nation of Kenya, a former British colony where the influence is still seen in the currency and the national sport of cricket.

I love the "If You Were Me and Lived In..." series of books by Carole P. Roman. I am privileged to have almost the entire collection from around the world. This conglomerate of a review is for five more books in the series: Australia, Peru, Israel, Kenya, and Cuba.
