Hallie's mom took a Yoga class and Hallie want to do Yoga too. She decided she was big enough to join the adults. Her mother leaves her with the caregiver at the Yoga class. Her name is Robin. After that, Hallie learns quickly things aren't always what they seem.

What a fantastic way to get your children motivated to exercise. Allow them to join you and eventually, it will become a habit they'll love. Not only do you get more one on one time with them, they are keeping their bodies healthy too.

REVIEW

When I saw this title, I thought about how many little ones want to do yoga just like mommy. The charming children's book show how they can do yoga too. The author shows in the book how there are poses in everyday life that mommies can use with their little ones.

When Hallie went with her mommy to yoga class, she couldn't do yoga with her mommy. She had to stay with Robin, but Robin had an idea of how to get Hallie to do yoga too, using everyday things such standing like a tree or waving yo

Children quite naturally want to do the same things their parents do, so when Mommy and Hallie go to the studio where Mommy does her yoga, Hallie wants to do the same things Mommy does. However, she is told that she needs to go to the child care area where she will play with Robin and that makes Hallie sad.
While Hallie is waiting for Mommy to complete her yoga exercises, Robin takes her through a series of movements and poses. Each time she does one, Hattie says, "But I want to do yoga too." Whe

I was so excited when I received I Want To Do Yoga Too by children's author Carole P. Roman. She continues to amaze me at the diversity of her writing.

About the book:

I Want To Do Yoga Too is about a little girl named Hallie who goes with her mother to the yoga studio.
There she is dropped off at the daycare and is frustrated because she wants to do yoga with her mom.

To make Hallie happy, the daycare teacher encourages her to pretend to be different things like a tall tree.
Unbeknownst to Hallie, s

Hallie and her mom love doing things together as most children do with either of their parents. When Hallie goes to the Yoga Center she is upset because she is not allowed to join the group with the other mommy's.

Since Hallie could not join in she was asked to stay with Robin while her mom did her yoga. Hallie was not happy but then Robin showed her some really fun moves like putting one leg behind you, lift it up and put your hands out like an airplane's wing and you can look like a jet plane.

We have many books by Carole P. Roman and I have to say that I think this is one of my favorites. It's about a little girl Hallie who really wants to do yoga with her mom at the yoga studio. Sadly, she goes into the kids area, but unbeknownst to her, she does yoga the entire time. This is such a fun read for young kids and a great beginners guide to yoga! The illustrations are great, too! ...more
