REVIEW
I have been one of the privileged to be able to read and review quite a few of Ms. Roman's children's books. They are wonderful books. This book, IF YOU WERE ME AND LIVED IN.....TURKEY has wonderful, bright colored pictures that will immediately catch a young reader's attention. The print is large for their little eyes to read. There is so much a child can learn in Ms. Roman's books. They teach and at the same time are fun and interesting. There isn't too much learning in them that it be

This trip we head to Turkey. What a colorful place that is rich in history Turkey is. We get to experience the things the people of Turkey do in a weeks time.

Carole P. Roman does a fantastic job of sharing the culture, language and history of far away places. Children get the chance to peek into someone else's world with these books. New words and different celebrations but Ms Roman shows we are all basically the same.

I didn't find any issues.

This is another installment in the excellent series of books "If You Were Me and Lived in ..." They are all valuable resources for multi-cultural studies in the early years of elementary school. The level of writing is approximately second grade, although younger if the child is given help, and the reader is given some simple facts about life the country of focus.
As the title indicates, in this case the country is Turkey and the reader learns a few Turkish words such as those for school, mother
