Pyramids is a complete departure from the characters and the usual setting of Ankh-Morpork that I've gotten used to and took me a while to be as invested in the story. I think it began much more seriously than most Discworld books usually do, and generally the humour is sparser than usual too.

Pretty funny stuff. Discworld is always nice for a light read. The whole science around the Pyramids was really amusing.
