I enjoyed this!
I did start to feel almost claustrophobic at the beginning of the book, because so much of the worldbuilding seemed so tied to London. But it does eventually acknowledge that the world is bigger than the city itself, and I felt a bit more grounded after that. xD
Otherwise, the characters are interesting and the conflicts entertaining. I wouldn’t say that the book was ever particularly moving for me, but I was thoroughly entertained and invested, and I didn’t ever want to set it do ...more

It took a little bit to get into this but once Kell and Lila started collaborating it started to pick up. The chemistry and banter that the characters have with each other helps bring you into the story.
