I've been thinking about reading this story for years. As someone interested in books, you can't escape the mention of it really. It never happened, always somehow put off by another book, or by my mood, or by plain forgetfulness. Till now, as a friend of mine is migrating away from me, in my late twenties, thinking about things such as friendship and love and commitment. Basically, I read this book at the right time.

This is a beautiful story of life and death and understanding that there is so much more if we choose to see the beauty in the mundane. The Little Prince delivers a childlike wonder akin to Santa Claus. Where everything is new with the possibility of being beautiful and it is so easy to see how much time grown ups waste on worry. A must read

It's a really sweet little book and I've loved it since I was little.
