Not to my tastes—I find miscommunications incredibly frustrating, and this was a tragedy built entirely out of them—but an excellently woven story regardless. Even if I found the actual reading experience unpleasant, I could see the delicacy with which each misunderstanding, each rough edge bumping up just wrong against each tender spot, was balanced by the author.
