What Members Thought
Anne Shirley is a beautiful, perky character that you can easily love. She's excellent in many ways. I liked the book; it was more than an enjoyable read. My only problem was that the writing - though full of vibrant, descriptive language - didn't represent matters of depth satisfactorily, giving the book a superficial atmosphere. As a children's book it's VERY good, considering the fact that its full of morals and Anne Shirley is a worthy character to be idolized.
