The Vampire Academy series is one of the most emotionally attached books I've read in a while. I'm a fan of both of Richelle Mead's series and LOVE each of her books. Vampire Academy is a YA series but it really doesn't make me feel age is a factor. They are located in a school and do go through many teenage problems but the way the characters interact and how the author makes you feel for them is on another level. I got attached almost instantly and read each book in only a few hours.

This book kept my heart pounding the whole entire time! I finished it so quickly that I couldn't think straight for the next couple of hours, as my mind kept drifting back to the plot. When I picked up this book, I thought `Hey, it can`t be better than Vampire Academy,` but i was incredibly wrong, in so many ways. The end made my heart break, and I still can`t breathe, when I put the book down only 50 minutes ago. My heart is still recovering, although I don`t know if I`ll ever forget this serie ...more
