[close] A Moveable Feast is a memoir by Ernest Hemingway describing his time in Paris following World War I with his young family. There were many artists and authors living there at the time. Hemingway writes about his relationships with Ezra Pound, Ford Madox Ford, Gertrude Stein and particularly his friendship with F. Scott Fitzgerald. The memoir was written later in Hemmingway's life and published posthumously. There are interesting, sometimes sad contrasts between his youthful self and the man he later became.
