What Members Thought

Unsettling. What a story. I continually felt sympathy for the little boy protagonist, and much frustration against his parents. A recurring theme in Gaiman's writing is the shortcomings of parents, I believe. Makes perfect sense. Archetypal rifts between children and parents are the stuff myths are made of. At any rate, after I finished reading this book, all I wanted to do was hug my daughter.
