What Members Thought
Very informative! A great snapshot of residential city survival in the early 20th century. But just another example how people should never try to live AND be happy in NewYorkCity-type places. Misery from the beginning of history in that place. (And yes I am a biased reader. I prefer living in rural slower paced areas with low costs of living.)
Surely that had been a dream!...For a long time that had been a dream....All the things that happened there just couldn't happen. It was all dream stuff. Or was it all real and true and was it that she..... was the dreamer?
