All 3 of my older kids enjoy these books (ages 6-10). The main characters are delightful poppies who do big things with courage and tenacity, using each of their individual gifts within the team. We love the positive themes of celebrating giftedness and positive images of parents in supporting roles. We have all the books, but my 2e kiddos adore the audiobook version narrated by Del Ray. There are some elements of danger and adventure to be mindful of if your poppies are sensitive. But the author handles it skillfully, and the audiobook narrator sounds like a trustworthy grandfather who wouldn't tell you a story that ended badly.
