The fact that someone sat on the manuscript for this and waited until Céline's widow passed away is criminal, a crime against literature. He had terrible opinions, as do many cherished authors, but that doesn't mean his work should not see the light of day. This is the first book by him I have read, and I didn't expect him to be so, for lack of a better word, 'current.'
