This is my best book in the series. This is probably the best book i've ever read. I loved it all the way through. The battle scenes were on another level. I have scenes in this book that will stick with me for a very long time. I'll say Erikson ended the series on a high, resolving subplots that have been weaving since the beginning and trying to mix in some happy endings here and there.

The Greatest Story ever told! Absolutely. There is no one on this planet that can ever match Steven Erikson in the way of writing. That man is a legend, and in my eyes he is a better writing than Tolkien himself.
The story, the characters, the sentiments, the tragedy, the comedy, the wars, the battled, all has been branded to my mind. And no one can ever replace it.
