Well, the fifth volume in Erikson's Malazan Book Of the Fallen is the best yet. After the events on the Seven cities continent and Genabackis, I couldn't have imagined that Erikson will go back in time to a completely different continent which has completely different magic systems, Gods and characters. While the writing was of the normal excellent quality delivered by Erikson in his Malazan series, the book will always be classified as the most frustrating book I have ever read. This isn't because of the writing which as I have already said is the great Erikson standard, but because the kindle copy that I received never showed any clear distinction when the point of view or scene changed. I woke up early just to drive ahead of my bus stop and take one that got me a seat(I'm not an early bird, I love sleeping in.) I loved this book, but was confused at certain times. It's probably my limited mind trying to fully understand such a master of epics, Steven Erikson. Worth all 925 pages and CANNOT wait for bonehunters!
