a great little zombie story, thought the author doesn't use that word through out the book. Was intrigued by the way David chose to depict the dead, and how they began their existence less dangerous than you would have expected.
since the story was set in the UK some of the lingo was a little hard to understand at times, otherwise the characters .com the way they each dealt with their survival was interesting. ...more

As a series Autumn is easily a five out of five for me. The first book is a little slow but I knew I was in for the long ride when I saw how detailed David Moody's universe was. I grew attached to Michael and his journey that is followed throughout all five books. I felt their desperation and the heaviness of their hardships. This series is very dark at times , however I love that it took the zombie apocalypse so serious.
