CW blood, gore, violence, and some really messed up scenes, but what else should one expect from a a zombie horror?
I thought this was an excellent look at the gritty underbelly of a zombie-infested world. The narration from Audible was phenomenal. Reminded me of the feeling of a zombie audio drama I listened to years ago and loved every single second of. It had the same cadence and feeling in the words. (Wish I could remember what the name of the other one was to be helpful here.)

Messed up.
A complicated story, graphic violence with a convoluted story. The characters are interesting, though not necessarily likeable. A good standalone novel.
