I just happen to be looking around for a post apocalyptic book and figured I would give zombies a try. I can't believe no one recommended this book to me. As the World Dies had me hooked just a few pages in. This was the first Zombie book I have read and all I can say is WOW. Rhiannon can tell a story! Some of the scenes are so creepy that you may have nightmares. I read a couple of them to my wife and she was horrified. When I first read this, I was like, wow, just wow. First off her writing is amazing, her characters are true to life and so well written, this is heads above any other zombie novel I've read. The two main characters are women, not stereotypes either, but real women that you can relate to. The action is fast paced, the zombies gory and its an edge of your seat read the whole way through. It got better as I read more of it!

I love a good zombie apocalypse, and this ticked all the boxes!
The characters were a little stereotypical, and for a while I kept getting the two female leads mixed up!
Worth a read..
